The book includes worked examples and end-of-chapter exercises. The third edition (2003) has been extensively revised and updated from the old second edition (1987).

Book Review
Of all the heat transfer and thermo books I have, this is my favorite. The authors clearly explain the many difficult concepts involved in heat transfer, and I found the examples helpful. The figures are well drawn and illuminating. I also found that there were enough practical equations and data in the book to do some real-life heat transfer calculations. This is a really wonderful book. One of the reviewers is right that this book is available for free online. Just shows that price doesn’t always correlate with quality. Excellent Book - Well Written, Clear and Practical. –By tagger9 “tagger9″ (Texas)
